Night Stand

Torn RealityThe rain pelted the ground hard, making a soothing but powerful noise in the night air. In the distance, lightning flashed...followed by the deep, rolling sound of thunder. A dark figure moved at a brisk pace down the sidewalk, pulling it's jacket and hat down tighter to keep the harsh touch of the rain away. It had a sense of mysteriousness to it. Soon, the figure stopped, and lightning crackled overhead, followed by the rolling thunder again. It turned towards you, and peered at a man standing in the middle of the sidewalk.  
 “Are you ready?” The figure asked.   “R...ready? For what?” the man asked. Torn Reality

Spliced UpIt's the year 3148 AD, but people in these times call it 1 DB. Stands for DNA Breakthrough. The first year that DNA splicing and designer genes were perfected. It's your standard sci-fi setup. We have hover cars, machines that do everything for us, moving sidewalks, and no external energy sources. Everything is powered by cold fusion.   
Now back to the point. DNA. So the breakthrough was met with controversy, just like EVERY thing that involves science and politics and religion. Several nations hailed the breakthrough, and made it public immediately, while others immediately branded it an unspeakable evil and banned it. Naturally, Spliced Up

The Last Breath“Cover the left! Private, watch the right!” Sgt. Troy shouted. He rubbed his itchy nose furiously. The sand storm was coming...but they needed to clear this last building, then possibly take shelter in it. “Charges set! So if some of you haven't heard of it, MoonEdit is a collaborative text-editor, allowing you to create stories, research, or just general fun in real time with others. Not only can you edit what you type...but you can edit what others type as well!

So if any of you take an inkling to want to try it, get in touch with me and I can set up a faux server to play with! I always love using this program.
